Steven was a hit. He played songs from the 60’s-90’s including, pop, rock, jazz, musicals, and ragtime. He eagerly invited requests and had guests singing along and dancing. My mom enjoyed playing duets with him. Steven is talented, accommodating, fun, and worked easily with us. He arrived on time and looked fantastic in his black tux. Hire Steven. you'll be glad you did! I was looking for a piano player for my wedding reception for a long time and I finally stumbled upon Mr. Solomon. We chatted on the phone and via email and I hired him right away and I'm so glad that I did! He made my cocktail hour and dinner portion of my reception so memorable. We had our reception at the Cicada Club in DTLA and I couldn't give him any music suggestions, I was only able to give him a style (jazzy 1920's - 1940's lounge music) and he knew exactly what I was talking about. I had a very memorable birthday party thanks to Steven!I hired Steven to play piano at my birthday party, for a fun sing-along event. At first I was nervous that no one would sing, but Steven knows so many songs and he quickly got people off their feet singing and dancing! My friends have all told me what a memorable and unique idea this was to have Steven play live piano music and I couldn't agree more. My wife and I hired Steven for our wedding and he exceeded all of our expectations. My wife was very interested in having someone play the La La Land score during cocktail hour and within the same day I requested a quote from Steven, he sent us a sample of him playing from the La La Land score! Steven is a great young pianist with AMAZING talent. He learned popular songs in a matter of minutes and mashed them all together in a nice piano arrangement for me. Steven is your guy. He played at our New Years Eve party. Very professional. All my guests had a great time with Steven. Played for hours, with no music in front of him, which was also remarkable, considering the number and variety of songs he played. We also had 20 kids ages 3 to 13 at the party. He entertained and engaged the kids easily getting them to participate in impromptu interactive music games, dancing, singing and more. He returned to playing music for the adults again. As with any "planned event" things typically happen that need to be adjusted to. In our case it was the weather. Rolling thunderstorms meant that having our outside vow renewal in a tent might have to move inside. Steven quickly adjusted to the changes we had to make when we moved the ceremony inside. He also worked beautifully with our two singers and sax player to make out event very special! His extensive repertoire and playing ability amazed us! He also was able to play softly when needed when he sensed that our guests wanted to converse. I would totally recommend Steven and plan on using him in the future.
